Saturday School - Inspiring Title Work

Happy weekend everyone, this is Terra with today's Saturday School post. One of the areas I have been struggling in recently is creating good title work for my layouts. I often leave the title work until the very end when working on a layout because I find it one of the most time consuming aspects of any page. The title work can definitely make or break a page and I have spent the past week looking for new inspiration.

One of the obvious sources of inspiration is to browse through various digiscrap galleries to learn from some of the best. While I was browsing through Jennifer's gallery at The Digi Chick I came across some really amazing title work. Look what I found!

Another place I like to look for title work is magazines as they contain so much inspiration. Not only are the article titles inspiring, but advertisements contain a wealth of inspiration as well. I love to look at all of the different font combinations on the pages and pay special attention to the pages that jump out at me the most.

A recent source of inspiration is Pinterest. I could easily get lost for hours browsing this site where users can post collections of things that they love and follow collections created by others from around the world. It is full of amazing inspiration. These are some of the images that are inspiring my title work.

Spotlight Sunday - Take Me Away

Hi everyone, Terra here taking a break from the holiday festivities to bring you a spotlight on a beautiful kit by Jennifer Fox. While the holidays bring a lot of joy and happiness, they can also bring some stress at the same time. It is easy to get caught up with tension, frustration and anxiety, but if you are able to take a couple minutes for yourself to relax and remember what the holidays are really about, you may be able to get rid of some of that stress. Jennifer's kit, Take Me Away, can help you find some peace, serenity and relaxation.

I just love all of the beautiful blue papers and pretty elements in this kit. I found a couple of great layouts in The Digichick Gallery to hopefully inspire you to take some time out for yourself and create a relaxing layout of your own.

Gallery Spotlights!

Hi Everyone!  It's me again, Jenn (jk703)!  I've decided to come back and treat you guys to some beautiful layout eye candy!  There are a lot of talented scrappers, and I wanted to show you a few of my recent favorite layouts using Jennifer's awesome supplies!  Here are some of my picks:


First up, LeeAndra created a fantastic, bright, birthday layout!  That background just pops out of the gallery because of the yellow!  Her stamped bubble wrap and clusters look awesome!  Jennifer's My Birthday Boy Kit was used to create this layout! Sunday Spotlight: Rough & Tumble

Happy Sunday everyone! Welcome to the Sunday Spotlight! I spent some time perusing the galleries to find your gorgeous layouts using Jennifer's products and I was blown away! There was so much out there, it was hard to nail it down to just 2 layouts to share! I finally decided to pick one of my favorite kits and concentrate on that. The kit? Rough and Tumble. Great kit for your boy layouts but also general layouts too!

By scrappinduck - I love how she used the patterned paper as her background, I always hesitate to use patterned paper for the background and I love how it looks here!

And I really love the design of this one by valeriapiemonte. Love the use of the alpha and the notepaper especially!

Gallery Standout

Hi everyone, Rebecca aka Mamabee, here with my very first blog entry for Jennifer Fox. It's been super cold, here in the Midwest (and most of the nation) and since I don't want to brave the elements, it's the perfect excuse to scrap!! Boy, I wasn't disappointment in what I found with what you've done with Jennifer's designs. Her kits just knock my socks off... so enough yapping, lets see some awesome layouts!!!

Wow... double spreads is an area that I need to work on... and mrsgriff did an amazing job with her layout, 30! Using CuppyCakes kit, it is just perfect to document this milestone... and since I'm only 29 (yeah... like 5 years ago *wink*)... the 30th birthday party looks like a blast!



Fun In the Snow - uinthas
This layout is stunning! I love how she used the diangle design to show off pictures of sledding... genius! And the snowflakes are placed perfectly... excellent use of Jennifer's kit with Nikki, Warm Winter Wishes!



Winter 09 - Giseli Freitas
Gorgeous... that is simply the word to use... The lacing edging is such a finishing touch on an outstanding layout... even if I didn't already have this kit, I'd be dropping EVERYTHING to run to get this kit... Warm Winter Wishes, Jennifer Fox and Nikki Epperson.

Gallery Spotlight

Hi! It's Leah here! One of my favorite things to do is browse through the digital scrapbooking galleries at some of the major scrapbooking sites. I'm always finding fresh inspiration and new ideas!
