I love La and she needs YOUR help! Shop with La, Win With Me!

Hi there, scrappy friends. One of my fave designers and digi-friends is in the hospital with a serious condition and she needs our help. Most of you know the fabulous Lauren Grier. Many of you also know that she is an AMAZING single mom to the mose precious little boy and that she supports her little family with her digital designs. Well, because she's so ill, she can't design right now. No designing means no new kits which means very little new income for her. We just can't let this happen. I encourage you, no, I BEG you to head over to her PERSONAL store at Scrapfastic Designs and pick up some of her amazing goodies.

I'm so lucky to be a member of her creative team, and my pages using her kits are among my absolute faves of all time. As a designer, I ADORE her Commercial Use items. Really, every single item in her store is amazing, and I promise you'll love whatever you buy.

I'd like to give a little added incentive (I hope!) to shop with her today. Head over to her store and buy a few little things. Then come back here and tell me what you bought. For every 5 people that post here, I'll chose 1 at random to win a $10 GC to my store at 9th&Bloom. No limit on winners. So, you shop with La, you win with me. Now, get busy shopping!

Win It Wednesday--April Edition: Little Pretties by Amy

Hello, everyone! I'm so excited to bring you our big Win It Wednesday for April. Last month, I gave away a fabulous prize package from Andrea of Delightful Designs, and I know our winner was so thrilled! Recently, one of my digi friends opened her own Etsy store and her products are to die for. I just had to ask her if she'd sponser this month's big Win It Wednesday and she was sweet enough to offer a fabulous prize for one of you. Are you ready for this? Check out Little Pretties by Amy.

Amy makes fun, simple and stylish jewelry and accessories for fun and simply stylish people (accessories make even the simplest outfit AMAZING). Amy's jewelry creations are made from high quality beads and findings. Some of her favorite materials are cabochons, Swarovski crystals and gems, vintage brass, silver, lucite flowers, czech glass, and natural looking stones. Her own personal taste is simple silver and turquoise beads. Amy is a work from home mama (graphic designer) to two little princes and she's addicted to yoga pants and flip flops, good coffee, fun reads, and of course beads.

Take a look a the Claire Necklace. Isn't it just gorgeous? The Claire necklace has a lovely aqua colored resin mum (1 cm) a small silver vintage key charm and a clear swarovski crystal for a bit of sparkle. They hang delicately from a silver snake chain that measures at 14 inches in length.

The Lucy Ring is just my style. This smashing cocktail ring really packs a punch. Silver, gold, copper and black pearls wired and mounted to a silver adjustable ring make for a really fun and dramatic statement piece.

The Mariah Earrings are just beautiful. These gorgeous little champagne colored swarovski crystal earring are sure to add just the right amount of glamour to anything you wear. Each cluster features eight little sparkling crystals, hanging delicately from silver kidney ear wires.

I absolutely love the Jill Bracelet. A mix of natural colored beads decorate this stunning arm candy. Strung onto memory wire that wraps around your arm 2 1/2 times, with beads hanging from each end for extra style. Add a little boho to any look!

I just can't resist her Cute Clips: Foxy Set. This is a set of 4 adorable hair clips (2 matching sets). The pink clips have a heart shaped cabochon with a chic pattern attached to them. The red clips each have a multi-colored stripe circle glittery cabochon attached to them. So cute!

There are so many more fabulous finds at Little Pretties by Amy. Take a look at her Etsy shop and start thinking of what you'd love to have, because she is letting me give away a totally fabulous prize. One lucky winner will win her choice of either a pair of custom earrings OR a custom necklace. It is super simple to enter! All you have to do is leave a comment here telling me what you love in Amy's store.

Win It Wednesday: From Etsy--Delightful Designs

Hello, everyone! I'm so excited to bring you our big Win It Wednesday for March. Last month, I gave away a fabulous prize package from Corynne's Creations, and I know our winner was so thrilled! This month, I came across the amazing Andrea of Delightful Designs and she was sweet enough to offer a fabulous prize for one of you.

Andrea is a mother of 2 and a proud military wife. She started making tutus for her daughter and her Etsy shop took off from there. Everything she sells is made to order--isn't that awesome?

Delightful Designs offers so many pretty things. I'm in love with the tutus. They are just gorgeous and I love that they're made to order. This Rainbow Apron Style Tutu is amazing. This tutu is perfect for birthdays or just playing in. It is super fluffy, made with yards and yards of soft tulle. Apron style tutus simply tie around the waist and include a flower clip to attach to the center of the bow or to put in your girl's hair.

How adorable would your little love look in the hot pink and yellow apron style tutu? Simply tie it around her waist and attach the flower clip if you choose to! This set also comes with a crochet headband and 2 flower clips. So adorable! All tutu waistbands are made with half elastic, half material to allow for stretching to fit and grow with your little princess, unless otherwise noted in the product description.

I also love the hair accessories at Delightful Designs. These crochet headbands measure 1.5 inches. Add a flower clip and it is the perfect addition to any outfit!

These flower clippies are so cute and are perfect on the headbands. These daisy flowers come with and alligator clip attached to the back.

Did I mention legwarmers? Oh my goodness, I LOVE legwarmers. These super cute legwarmers have multi-colored polka dots and come with a coordinating headband with a removeable flower clip.

There are so many more fabulous finds at Delightful Designs. Take a look at her Etsy shop and start thinking of what you'd love to have, because she is letting me give away the most amazing prize package. One lucky winner will win a tutu set, including tutu, crochet headband with removeable flower clip, and matching legwarmers. It is super simple to enter! Win It Wednesday: From Etsy--Corynne's Creations!

Hello, everyone! I'm so excited to bring you our big Win It Wednesday for February. Last month, I gave away a Lulu photobook, so I really wanted to change it up this month. I'm lucky to have a very talented and sweet friend who sells her gorgeous creations on Etsy, and she wants to share a fabulous prize with one of you!

Her store, Corynne's Creations, is full of beautiful handmade accessories for your little princess, big or small! She also makes amazing key fobs and belts, so there truly is something for everyone on her site.

I have to tell you that I'm in love with the headbands. They're perfect for wearing everyday, and my Miss C just loves hers. The ends are heat sealed to prevent fraying, and in this example, the clippie is removable to wear separately and is on a lined no-slip alligator clip.

Oh my goodness, check out these little felt clippies. Each of these adorable clips is handcrafted out of felt. These are so cute! I want them all!!!

There are several more adorable felt creations in her shop (including the cutest cupcake ever!!!), so check those out, as well.

For us bigger girls, she offers a variety of cute key fobs (I bet she could even make a guy version...she loves to do custom orders!). These 1.25" wide Key Fobs are made of heavy duty cotton webbing and grosgrain ribbon. The ends have been sealed to prevent fraying. The key fobs are about 5" long

You know what's super cool? If you are interested in a monogrammed or embroidered key fob, it can be done for an additional $1.50. You'll just need to let her know before you purchase!

Speaking of embroidered cuteness, check out this bow:

These bows are fully customizable. Each bow is made of grosgrain ribbon and embroidered with the initial of your choice. The bow is placed on either a lined no-slip alligator clip or barrette, your choice.
Finally, check out this adorable belt:

This belt is about 34" long and made with heavy duty cotton webbing and grosgrain ribbon. The ribbon has been machine stitched on the heavy duty cotton webbing, and placed on a d-ring. Ends have been heat sealed to prevent fraying. This belt would look so cute accessorizing any outfit. The belt shown should fit a child size 8-14. If you need it smaller or larger, just place a custom order!

There are so many more fabulous finds at Corynne's Creations. Take a look at her Etsy shop and start thinking of what you'd love to have, because she is letting me give away TWO PRODUCTS from her shop--winner's choice!!! One lucky winner will win this prize package and it's super simple to enter. Simply leave a comment here telling me what you would most like to win from Corynne's Creations.

Lulu Photobook Product Review and Giveaway

Recently I was contacted by some really sweet people at Lulu. They offered me the opportunity to try out one of their photo books, share my review with you all, and even giveaway a free book to one lucky reader! I was so excited to have this opportunity! I love printing my layouts into bound books, love trying new printing companies, and love giving things away, so this was a win-win for me.

From Lulu’s website, you can read this information:
It's easy to create your own photo book online using Lulu Studio, our free online photo book creator. You can choose from a range of sizes, cover types and make use of our free professionally designed templates. Photo books are a great way to save and share your digital photographs instead of ordering photo prints. Convert your digital photo albums into beautiful, high quality printed photo books to keep, sell or share with friends and loved ones. Are you an artist publishing your portfolio photo book? A young parent creating a baby photo book? A newlywed making a wedding photo book? Or perhaps you are just feeling creative? Now you can publish and sell your photo book using our online tools. Lulu print on demand publishing makes it easy and affordable to publish and sell your custom photo book. Want to get it done quickly and easily? Lulu Studio makes it easy to use your pictures from Flickr, Facebook, Photobucket, SmugMug, or just upload them from your computer. Our photo books use a custom print on demand process and ship within 3 days of receiving your order. Buy in larger quantities to save money on each book you order.

Options and pricing: They have so many sizes of books to choose from. I love the “wallet books” that are 3.75” x 2.5.” How cute!!! They go all the way up to 13” x 11,” too. They have several sizes perfect for digital scrappers: 8.5”x8.5” (my favorite size) and 12”x12” square are perfect. A 12”x12” book with 20 pages starts at $49.95. A 8.5”x8.5” book with 20 pages starts at $19.99.

The Creation Process: Lulu Studio makes creating your book simple. You choose your book theme, add images, and off you go. You choose the layout you want for each page (for scrapbook layouts, I chose a full page), and then drag in your uploaded images. You’ll notice a dotted line marking the cut-off for each page. That’s very important and you’ll want to make sure that you don’t have anything important (photos, journaling, elements) in that area or it WILL BE CUT OFF in your final book. Even though I kind of knew that as I was creating my book, I didn’t want to resize to fit for each page and I did lose some detail in some of my pages. Leaving about ¼” from the outside edges is a pretty good rule of thumb. I could not find an option for creating a custom spine or title page, but neither of these was a big deal for me.

Book Quality: I love the cover of this book. It’s not shiny like most of my photo books. Instead, it’s a pretty matte with just a touch of sheen. I love that it’s different and it really is pretty. I was able to just use a layout for my cover (again, remember not to have anything important around the edges!), and it worked out just fine. The binding is nice and seems sturdy. The pages don’t lay flat when open, but that’s no different than my other photo books. It would just keep me from printing double page spreads very often. The print quality is very good. It is much better than Artscow and about even with Shutterfly. The pages are thick and the colors are great. No over saturation or dullness. The pages are vivid and pretty true to what I see on my monitor.

All in all, I’m very impressed with Lulu. Their customer service was top notch. Emails were answered in a timely fashion. Shipping was quick and packaging was great. If you are looking for a new photo book publisher, give Lulu a shot. I think you’ll be pleased.

Now, here’s the best part. Lulu has given me one 8.5”x8.5” photo book to GIVE AWAY to a lucky reader. How fabulous is that? If you’d like a chance to win, leave a comment here telling me what your book would include.

Would you like an extra chance (or chances!) to win? Simply do one or more of the following and be sure to leave each entry in a separate comment for more chances.

1. Follow this blog.
2. Become a fan of Jennifer Fox Designs on Facebook.
3. Subscribe to my newsletter.
4. Follow jfoxdesigns on Twitter.
5. Post about this giveaway on your Facebook page.
6. Tweet about this giveaway on Twitter.

You can get up to 7 entries to win this fabulous photo book!!! How fun! This giveaway will close at MIDNIGHT EST on JANUARY 31st. Be sure to check back then to see if you've won. Good luck!
