An attempt (with hybrid template)

Hi all! Donna here again for hybrid humpday! Gonna share my journey with you, in attempting to make my own hybrid template :D I would love to share the template here with you BUT it needs fixing! lol!

It's just a simple basket template... here's what it looks like :D

 The size is approx. 4x4 (from the opening,when assembled

Anyways, here's a simple step by step on how I made this
 I used COLORFUL ME, collab by Jennifer Fox, Laura Banasiak and Nikki Epperson

 Okay here we go....
1. Here's what my print out looked like.. I scored the lines before cutting it all up (obviously, had no idea that I should have lighten the score lines before printing it out hehehe =P)

2.Cut and fold

3. Adhere the side flaps (double sided tape, glue...whatever works for you)
{uhhhh...see...I told you there's something wrong with my template, lol!!!}

Tada!!!! magic!! =P

 4. So after I snipped off the excess ends there (hehehe), it's time to make the handle...
I simply adhered the black gingham ribbon strips like this...
and you will end up with a double-sided handle like this

5. I also printed a 4x8 strip and cut it into 4 smaller strips like you see in the image below..
{I love me some doodling :D }
Cut along the doodled scallops and adhere to the basket.
I snipped (lots of snipping here =p) at both ends so they fit just right to the basket...

6. Your choice, brads or eyelets...
to connect the handle to the basket...
I preferred to use eyelets :)

7. And finally, you can decorate with a tag and ribbon =)

Hope you liked it!!!
Thanks for reading through, happy crafting!!!

Other stuff use: satin ribbon, eyelets, double-sided tape, chalk ink, Sakura Aqualip pen (black)
