Tag Album for Hybrid Hump

I'm so excited to be back and posting here again!  And guess what?  It's official, I'm not just a guest but a new member of Jennifer's Hybrid Team!  YAY!!!  I can't tell you all how excited I am!  I love hybrid!  I don't think my hubby loves hybrid because when I left paper scrapping for digital I think he was excited to get rid of all that schtuff!  Guess what?  A lot of it is back!  Especially ribbon!  I am obsessed with ribbon!

Anyway, before I get too sidetracked, I have to show you my project for this week.  I used Jenn's new kit "Foxy Chic".  I just love this kit.  It is so hip and bright and fun.  Normally, I scrap about my kids or my sister's kids or the neighbors kids, and this kit just spoke to me--for me!  Yep, I scrapped about myself!  I NEVER do that!  I'm the person who hides behind the camera and never does anything to stand out!  But, I was so inspired by this kit and it's elegance but fun, that I wanted to do a little album about me!  And I had so much fun!  If you've never done one before, I challenge you to try it!  And use this kit in the process (wink, wink!).

I just used a basic tag shape and made it big, at least big enough to fit 3 on an 8.5x11 sheet of paper.  Then I decorated the pages and thought about all the things that make me, me!  I had a page for favorite food/desserts, a page for my favorite movie/book, a page for my favorite people (the kids and hubby, of course), a page for my favorite quotes, and by coincidence one of them was by Dr. Suess!  And today is his birthday!  I'm getting sidetracked, I know, but I just had to point that out!  On the last page, I wrote 4 things I want to accomplish before I turn 40.  This month I will turn 38, so I'm kind of running out of time (which is why I kept them to 4).  I hope to use this little album, not only as a reminder of my goals and who I am, but also as something my  kids can look back on 10, 20, 40 years from now and remember me today!  I promise, that will be a priceless gift for them!

So, once you create your tags, as pages, print them on to cardstock, cut out, punch a hole at the top, add a ring and of course, your ribbon!  Add all the ribbon you want!  And here is what you will get in the end:

And here is the fabulous kit I used to create it. Just click on it to go purchase it in Jenn's store!  I almost forgot to mention that this is a collab with Jennifer and Geek Chic!  They did such an awesome job!
